These trans remind me of the old school buses. Big HD trans with large jump to 2nd. I kinda exspect slowness there. Also to clarify , I don't shift into 3rd, just push in alittle so the synchros touch, then to 2nd.
I think GL5 is good for the rear end and is OK to use in the MT transfer case. No brass in there,,,I hope.
