Last year I approached a crossroads: restore my '89 Raider, abandon it, or start looking for a replacement.

Especially after this winter, it has become apparent that there is too much rust to fight. That coupled with a few other body defects from off-roading makes it not worth attempting to fix the damage caused by age.

My dilemma is that the guts are fine: Engine rebuilt in '04, A/T in '05, suspension and steering in '09, along with a whole host of other minor mechanical touch-ups.

What I'm looking for is a donor body and chassis, preferably from the SW with little-to-no rust and little-to-no body damage. I don't care if it runs or not, I just need a vehicle that's not unstoppably rotting away to carry on the GenI tradition.

If anybody sees one in the SW for a reasonable price, please let me know!
