I had an episode with squirrels invading the engine compartment of my Toyota pickup. As I was arriving home after work today, I saw a squirrel run across my driveway, underneath my pickup, up
up into the engine compartment.
"Oh NO you DON'T!"After pulling my car into the garage, I got set to do some eviction processing. Popped the hood and prepared to see a squirrel come flying out from under it like last year.
I was mistaken.
I opened the hood to the sight of about a
dozen squirrels scampering and scattering like a gun-shot in a mall. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /><img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /> Tons of twigs and other "bedding" was crammed into the corners of the engine bay.
*sigh*At least this time, however, they hadn't chewed through any wires, since I wrapped mothballs around them last year. My distributor cap had enough knawing on it to warrant replacement, though.
