yes, I agree now as well, today she drove it up to tucson, in and around the city for about 4 hours and back home, so a total of about 6-8 hours total driving, 3 of which were at approx 75 mph on the highway........no coolant was consumed, so I think the head gasket is good and is just oil that is causing the smoke.

for the past 100,000 miles, I have used Mobil 1 10W30 synthetic oil.
