SHIZA!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> That's not something you'd want happening in a pouch hanging beside your junk.

The explosions only happen during charging, and only when you use chargers not designed for LIPO or you try to overcharge the battery.

Just keep your junk away from charging batteries and you'll be fine! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Body Damage is Cool
Thats funny. Ever wrapped steel wool around both ends of a D cell? Great way to start a camp fire in a pich.

I put about 2 dozen SureFire CR123 lithuim batteries in a titanum coffee cup on my work bench one day. Started smoking really bad after a couple minutes.
Didn't know what it was a first, smelled like a burned up electric motor.

Glad it was sitting there and didn't walk away <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />.
Pretty sure they would have caught fire soon if I didn't dump them out on the bench.
Should've known, it was bone head thing to do and could have got by butt fired.
