The winner was radiatorbarn.com .
$189.92 for a all metal 3 row radiator delivered.

Thanks for the input.

Ralph

radiatorbarn.com is good!

But the USPS isn't as good...

I ordered the same radiator 2 weeks ago from them, but it still hasn't arrived here in Germany. Hopefully it will be here before my temp tags expire on July 1st so I can fully register the 4Runner again.

That is very true.
My fan shroud is in perfect shape.

With the engine mods the old 2 core just wasn't up to the task. I have even set a side the idea of an electric fan.

I understand that the Aluminum radiators main advantage is weight savings. As far as cooling they are about the same as the brass radiators. And as someone pointer out hard to repair on the trail.

The stock 2 core radiators are rated to 250 hp. Minor mods should not require a new radiator. Take it to a good shop and have it "rodded out."

The old radiator was 3 years old.

Under 80 mph it worked fine.
75 or so with the AC on and the temp would slowly creep up.

Before the mods there was no problem. But it felt like 80 was pushing it, now it cruses at 80 and 90 is pushing it.

I don't know about the 250 HP and a 2 core, but the 3 core is great.
Even with a stock engine the $30.00 for that 3rd core would be a smart buy.

One question if the 2 core radiator is good up to 250hp,
Why do they put a 3 core in the V6?
There must be other things taken into consideration.

My 22RE out pulls the 3.0 V6 on long grades such as Mt. Ashland going into Oregon, I've done it.
