I figured I would start this thread to show the pics. I finally got everything tacked up. (sorry for the long wait everyone) This will give you a rough idea of what its going to look like. It is not finish welded yet or 100% complete., but I did a quick spray job with paint so it looks better than raw steel. The final one on mine will be sprayed with the bed-liner to match the rest of my Monty. I often get sick of trying to find footing to step up and put my bikes and other stuff on the roof so there is a footstep on the side that will make it much easier to get access to the roof. We were able to greatly increase the rear departure angle and I will be putting a skid plate under the rear storage area to stop it from getting bashed in. Anyhow, opinions are welcome.

Cheers,
Phil

These are going to be sold for anyone who wants them. We havent figured up a price just yet, or the "final details" but I will keep everything updated as it progresses. I just wanted to post up some pics so that you can get an idea of where its headed.

Nice job man What other ideas did you have going through your head on the rear bumper. Anything else you were thinking of. I cant think of anything different really. If it was on mine, it would be different, but it works for the GenIII better than it would a Gen II.5. Keep it up. cant wait to see it in person one of these days.

Hows the front coming along?

Ya Angelo, I know what you mean about it. These Gen 3s are really hard to build for...aesthetically that is. They have curves and to keep that in a bumper made out of metal is the MAIN problem we had. Now if I had a nice CNC press brake and other big dollar tools it wouldnt be hard. But to do it small time like we have, it has been a challenge. Oh well. I think this works. And again thanks for the input on it.

Phil

I'm in on one most likely! It looks like my Gen 1 is going to be nothing but a money pit...I may sell it off as is and concentrate more on the Gen 3.
