I'm going with Charlie's recommendations and experience on having a fail proof system. I don't know if you read his reciepe.
I broke a pipe with a T in it after a real hard drop. I'm scarred for life on that experience. Yeah ,I worry to much, but I'm not gonna take any chance with oil being pumped out again before I notice. I want to be able to have a tree limb, etc. busting thru or a flying rock or most likely drop a battery or head , e- manifold , etc etc. on a brittle plastic tube or a soft copper line with cheap Commy Chinese fittings.
