Good to hear that there is a good chance you will be there. If everyone that is still on the list of going makes it we will have 4 Gen 1s.

I guess as far as softcore/hardcore etc goes its all on how you view things, nad how equipped your rig is.

Back in 06 when Sparkem and I did most everything out there when I was on 235s I would have agreed that Uwharrie was 80 percent softcore with 20 percent hardcore thrown in between Kodak Rock and Daniel. But that was back when there were only 3 lines on Kodak, the ledge on Daniel could be done with a stock truck on 31s, the 3 path hill climb on Dickey Bell could be done on 235s, and the hill climb on Dutch John was paved essentially.

Now its getting close to 50/50. Kodak has opened up into 6 different lines, plus Budweiser rock has been carved out through erosion/usage. It takes 33"s and a lift at the very least to even try the ledge on Daniel now, plus there is no more bypass at the hill climb on Daniel. The 3 path hill climb on Dickey bell can barely be done on 33"s with lift without stopping/having to back up/get spotted etc. And the hill climb on dutch john that wasn't even a challenge in 2006 now is rutted out to where vehicles on 33"s lifted are having issues. And oh yeah the ledge before Kodak that used to be doable on 235s is now in 33"-35" range.

With the closure of Tellico they are letting some things go (mainly Daniel) to make it more of a challenge. Things have changed a lot in the 3 years since a lot of the guys have been there.
