Hey everyone, I have an electrical question. 1993 Montero SR. The other day I went to start the Monty and there was nothing no radio, lights, ect. I then turned the key again and it started as normal. Then today I drove to the store and when I came out and turned the key the same thing. Almost like the battery cable was disconnected. I left the key in the run position and popped the hood and was going out to look under the hood and I heard the open door signal. I then went back and turned the key and it started as normal.

I checked and cleaned the battery posts. Is this a starter issue or a ignition swith issue?

Have any of you experienced this? Any help or suggestion would be great.
