Check the Battery terminals for corrosion. Then check the Ignition switch. The Plastic switch in the Gen 2's wears out after about 5 years or so. You can isolate it by trying to wiggle the key, which will hopefully make contact, and engage the starter.

Ive had two go bad on me. I think My 95's is about to give up the ghost soon which I replaced with new in 2002.
