I know the Isuzu guys grouped together back in 04 and got a set of lockers made for their trucks. I know we are a smaller scale but I was wondering who all would be interested in getting a group buy of lockers made for the Gen 1s? Or Gen 2s for that matter? It would take some work, but if we got enough people to put down reservations we might be able to get a set of Mitsu lockers made.

They say they offer a front, that is better than nothing I guess. But what year Pajeros they have lockers for, which axles, and how much is still up in the air. The idea of getting a group buy done here in the United States is to get front or rear lockrites in the $300 range if possible without all the shipping/cost of getting stuff from Aus/ARB.

The Isuzu guys did it, came in around $300-$400. So its not impossible, they went through Powertrax the first time.

Isuzu guys seem more willing to put their money where their mouth is..Mitsu guys not so much. I've been through this before. I'm not saying its impossible, but highly unlikely. Good luck.

You'll need to get those lockrights in the $10 range for the rest of us

A week or so ago I contacted "Aussie Lockers" (www.aussielockers.com)to see if they could supply a unit for a friend's 1987 4 cylinder Gen 1 24 spline front diff. here's my question:

"I would like to know if you can supply a unit for a Mitsubishi Montero. It is for the front diff. I'm hoping you might as this vehicle is popular in Australia, it is called the Pajaro there. I need one for a 1987 model with a 2.6l 4 cylinder. The spline count is 24 on the shafts. I think it has a 7.5" ring gear dia."

Here's their reply:

"We have a front Montero locker we just brought into our stock in the USA. We have not yet completed the market information to enable us to add this to our product line so we are not sure if it is what you need or not. We will try to make this happen later this week and get back to you."

I'm pretty sure they are the US distributor for the "Lokka"
I haven't heard back yet, I'll follow up when I do.
