The Isuzu guys did it, came in around $300-$400. So its not impossible, they went through Powertrax the first time. Hmmm. Really? will it be possible for us to get lockers for that price? if so i am Totally in please inform me if anyone calls and gets a true Quote from the seller going please

![[Linked Image]](http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/hyboosa/Lincoln-Locker.jpg) If I was going to weld it up this is what I would do. Do not weld the gears to the casting it WILL crack, You need to cut a plate to fit in between the gears on both sides and weld the gears to that. i had good pictures but montypics deleted all my *****

Yeah.. Lots of threads on Lincoln Lockers, with excellent descriptions of each.
You want to weld the spider gears together, and not the housing.

Really? will it be possible for us to get lockers for that price? if so i am Totally in please inform me if anyone calls and gets a true Quote from the seller going please LockRights are in that price range for just about all the vehicles they make applications for. The only advantage the Isuzu guys had over us is more people interested so far. If we can't get a good number of people to buy, they won't make a run of lockers for just 10 or so people. As far as Lincoln Lockers go that is what I am looking at right now for the front (if I can find someone out here in NC that will weld up my front). But in the rear I would prefer a LockRight, because having a welded rear isn't the best thing for a DD. It has been done yes, but I would like to explore my options first. And the $800 ARB Locker is out of the question for me, a grand for locker when its all said in done is too pricey for me. And oh yeah, 2nd Gen axles with lockers don't grow on trees either.

And for the rear you just weld up the gears with a plate in between and thats it not the housing like the picture I posted right? I found that pic on a site when I was checking around.

You need Superwinch or Aisin selectable hubs before locking the front I heard you get a really bad steering radius...
