Anytime you change steering geometry, you probably need an alignment.

Most of the time the changes will not affect drive ability and only show through tire wear many miles later.

A 2" body lift on my YJ did not agree with fuel filler hose.

Generally, the fuel tank is body mounted and should not be bothered by a body lift. However, fuel lines to the engine are frame mounted. In my case, I had to feed gas slowly or the pump would shut off. Removed the body lift and tank fills fine.
