Hi Guys!

Posted this in the Jeep section but it could be answered here as well!

I'm putting on a 1.75" suspension spacer lift and new shocks this weekend, but can't get the jeep to an alignment shop till the end of next week, will this cause any damage if I drive around without an alignment for a few days?

If u drive w/out alignment (and can drive) then I would certainly not worry about a thing.

But------
I think that the New Jeeps have a (traction sensor/stability ?????) Can't remember........... but it will throw a code if the steering is off and will NOT Let u accelerate <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

(something about those damn safety features)............

Better wait until u get both <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Body Damage is Cool
With your solid front axle you should not have a problem for that long, about all you may notice is your steering wheel won't be aligned. Thats what I noticed when I had my 98 TJ.

what dennis said!

with the solid axle, you shouldnt be messing with your camber or anything like that, i guess depending on how the steering is on it it shouldnt effect your toe at all either. might be as simple as adjusting the drop link on the steering to recenter the wheel.

And what Hydra said <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Be careful and do not get this guy to do DOUBLE DUTY (regarding work)! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

PSS is a Bitxh when it does not allow ur vehicle to move <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Please consider doing the lift----If ur gonna have to remove it again cause ur ride don't go. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

im sure there is a way to override that..or just pull the fuse

There is an ESP on/off switch for when you take it off road, so worse case I turn the switch off for a day or so!

Thanks for the advise guys!
