I took the gauge assembly out cleaned contacts,I also took the clear plastic cover and cleaned the dust and dead mosquito thats been bouncing back and forth for the last 2 years.anyway the plug was very tight and had no indication of black marks or corrosion ,put it back and took it for a drive, it was fine until a down hill stretch and on it came but only flashed for 5 seconds then went off ,the weird thing is that It comes on after 3 miles of down hill every time.I can set the trip meter at the top of the down hill stretch and it always comes on around 2.8 to 3.1 miles every time...........too crazy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
