I never knew this and wondered what that connection is for!

I am going to get out the FSM and check mine and my Son's tomorrow!

COOL!

Make sure you use an analog voltmeter/multimeter. Digital one's wont work for this.

Of course, if your Check Engine light isn't on, I think you just get a steady train of pulses or something pretty unhelpful

As you probably know, that just means that "based on what it checks", it hasn't found anything wrong with your engine.

This is somewhat helpful because it can eliminate things you might check otherwise.

I reseated all the plug wires and its a little better but still pretty rough.

I uploaded a video I made, the other is still processing.
I made sure to have the oil pressure gauge in view so you won't think its running dry.

Well now you tell me!

I was going nuts! Thought my battery was bad and i did not have another 9 volt around.

I have an analog Volt Multimeter in the back of my rig. I will give it another go tomorrow!

Would a plugged injector or two make the engine run like that? I am just wondering because I never bothered cleaning them.

Could do. If you're not getting sufficient fuel in one cylinder it could do that. Can you unplug them one at a time with the engine running? If so, the one that makes no difference to the running of the engine is the culprit.

Seems to me that a DRB-II will let you turn on/off individual injectors.

How old is the gas, and how much is in the tank? Have you put a timing light on it yet?

Gas is over a year old, and I have a massive fuel leak pre filter so its not very fresh gas either.

Oh mark, what is a DRBII?
