unfortunatly on mine the cat does have a hanger that ties to the bottom of the trany, go figure.. so thats why its off about an inch. as for heating the pipe and bending it, i dont have a torch. so i went to midas and showed them the rubber piece that i had and they gave me one that was a bit longer. It all worked out. its all nice and tight, and a bit quieter.

i would think aftermarket manufactures would have seen this and come out with an exhaust that would have longer hangers or come with longer rubber connectors. or maybe i just havent found them.
