Aftermarket manufacturers build their products to fit on a vehicle that is essentially stock.

As those of us with modified vehicles are well aware, once you modify your vehicle (such as dropping the t-case to which the exhaust system is attached) then you can naturally expect to have to do some improvising in order to get the aftermarket part to fit on your altered vehicle.
