Thanks for all the input .I took it to a jeep mechanic that was out of a job do to dealership shut down.I watched and learned, and yes the front had to be pulled completely off ,another thing he checked was the electronic fan relay for the electric fan ,it turns the fan on with the a/c. and when the temp gets to 235*.the relay is in such a bad location that you actually have to take off even more of the front end to get to it ,when he got to where he could reach both 10mm bolts the front end was completely taken off including both headlights and the plastic support for the grill and headlight assembly.and I mean everything.and yes the relay was bad .this relay is small enough that the jeep engineers could have put it up by the battery where it would be more serviceable ,the part was 38 bucks at napa.the mechanic told me the labor on changing this part is around 300 bucks,we also replaced the fan clutch .This just shows you why Jeep/Chrysler is in the position they are ,people are tired of being ripped ,this radiator replacement costs over 800 at the dealer .I gave the mechanic 100 bucks and bought the rad at napa for 169 bucks.LIVE AND LEARN.THANKS.if anyone has any questions about this adventure I feel I could give you the answer..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
