Mine is a 2000 and has an oil cooler.

It is leaking from the adapter plate to the block, and also the actual cooler is leaking (no replaceable seals, just the cooler itself <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> ).

As the manual is straight forward, it seems to skip HOW to get the bolts/nuts. It seems as if the car/motor was built around the oil filter area. Everything is in the way. From on top, the intake manifold, vaccuum box, and ac compressor surround it. From below, the starter, subframe, and motor mount surround it.

I did find out I needed a 30mm socket to remove the nut under the oil filter. So i went and got that today.
