Chattering usually means a weak pressure plate.

So you looking at the whole thing.
resurface flywheel, Clutch disk and throw out bearing.

When I purchased my pickup it had the whole set with it.

I purchased a complete engine from a local speed shop and dropped it in and replaced everything.
So I don't know what is involved in doing an install.

Ralph..

Last time I had the clutch done (about 20K km ago) it had a new flywheel and a new clutch fork from Toyota put in. The only thing they didn't do was the bearing (my bad for assuming it would be replaced since it was opened up and they're fairly cheap). I haven't even been off road with it since. Very frustrating. Could just be a s**t OEM clutch kit I guess.
Anyone see any problems with just going with it as is for as long as I can get out of it?
