Hey thanks this might be better, Has any one ever seen a sammy with turbo'd 22r? I might not turbo it if all I was going to do was mud yeah I would but seeing as I trail ride, slowwwwwww driving I might but put a cam and HC pistons and call it good. What is your oppinion? What would be a good cam LOW/MID power band. And what would be some good pistons or should I just go with stock pistons? I figure I it will be .020 over stock so thats about all I know I havent taken the motor apart yet so I dont know what all damage I done to it.
It was mud toy and I was running through this hole that Bow ties, Blue ovals, and Goat heads with 44's was getting stuck in, it all started when this guy in a Dodge told me my rice burner wouldnt do it on 32's street thead! and being 17 at the time I thought watch this I dove off in the hole pushing mud with the hood having to shift from 1st to 2nd to keep from blowing it up then back down to 1st because it cant push the mud I made it 3/4 of the way though the hole and decided I would just stuff it in 1st and drive my way out (b/c toyotas are bomb proof!) and just as my front tires came out of the mud the tach hit somewhere around 7 grand and poof steam went every where and my little 4runner that could stopped running but my momentum pushed me the rest of the way out of the hole and every one that was watching gave me a standing ovation, exept the guy in the Dodge!
the only damage that I could see was the temp guage pegged and the top hose off the radiator was blown off I let it cool off and tried to start it and it would just crank no metal to metal sounds I pulled the timing cover off and the chain was broke so that is about all I know I put a new chain and spokets on it and tried to start it but it would only hit on 1 or 2 cylenders I got distcuraged and pushed it out back and it sat so your guese is as good as mine.
