No problem, Jorge. Yes, HP is 'high pinion'. The High Pinion Dana 44 uses a reverse cut gear. The article below explains some of the terminology.

Dana 44 Solid Front Axle

I don't think the XJ ever came with a HP anywhere (not sure ANY Jeep did). I could wrong but HPs are not common in newer 90ish+ vehicles. In the US it was a fairly common Ford pickup/Bronco part in the 1970s-90s.

If finding a HP is problematic where you are a possible solution is to move the t-case back giving you more length to work with for the drive shaft. That bad part is that will drop your drive shaft well below EVERYTHING. There is a fix for that, too, unfortunately it requires a HP.

The two points for installing a HP: keep the DS as high up as possible for clearance and keep your DS angles sane.

An XJ axle isn't going to just bolt in so getting all the brackets with the axle doesn't really buy you anything. My suggestion would be to get a good axle and then get brackets and have them welded on where you need them. There are 3 and 4-link bracket kits available from a dozen companies (at least).

Tag, yea, right up to the point someone starts talking about IFS on the REAR of a vehicle. IFS gets used generically to refer to front or rear a lot.
