Later in July would be better for me. The 11th/12th is a no go for me.

I'm offended that you are offended

I was also thinking that too soon in July would keep more people away cause its close to the 4th with alot of people already going out of town or making plans. Being later would space that out. I say we make the poll and see the results. If we dont start getting definitates here soon, we'll have no choice but to push it back.

Better for me, Eli you seem to be pretty good friends with Janet up there, do you think if I brought some trail tires and some street tires, I could maybe leave them over by her so that they didn't sprout any legs?

Also I put the 34's on heres some pics:

Fixed that for ya. Those 34x12.5s are what I would run if I had a V6. Now we have your Gen 1 with those TSLs on it, and Angelo's 2.5 with them on his. Time to move up to 35s/36s Angelo.

I will have to talk to her about that. JoeD leaves entire vehicles up there, but I am not Joe. I would think she wouldn't mind tires, but again I will have to ask.

Right now I feel the sooner the better for the Uwharrie trip. But we still haven't heard from Mark, Chris, and a couple others if the earlier date will work for them. Who knows maybe we will do 2 trips.

I am at 5/6 trips needed for the pass on my truck to pay for itself. But my goal is to go above and beyond paid for. Some of my motivation is work driving me insane right now, so we will see.

Unless anyone objects lets do it this way:

July 11th-Early Bird Uhwarrie Run: Meet at the outpost @ 0600, hit the trails by 0630. Wrap up mid afternoon.

July 25th/26th- Weekend Summer Uwharrie Run: Arrive Saturday morning, wheel all day. For those that can camp over night, wake up early and wheel in the morning and head out after lunch.

Right now I my goal is to make both IF $$$ allows. But my goal is at the very least to make the early bird run.

EDIT: The Early Bird Run Logic:

@6AM:On an average summer day the temp is around 70F.
@NOON:On an average summer day the temp is around 90F.

Wheel during the coolest hours of the day (the low usually is hit aroudn 6am), then pull off for lunch around 1pm. Maybe hit one more trail then head home before it gets too hot.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
so your saying 5 straight hours of wheeling in the early bird? y not say meet around 7 hit trails at 7:30 that way no one has to get up at 4 in the morn.

What ever works best for most. To be there at 6am I would have to be up at 3:45am.

If we do a real early run like that, do you have any idea when the outpost opens, so people can get day passes, like myself? I tried to check there website, but there in the process of updating it. I would hate to get up there and have to wait a couple hours to get a pass...
