My tensioner had to be replaced at 327K miles. So I think they last a good while.

First time owner of 4wd vehicle.
1995 Montero LS, 325k miles, Just put in 3.5l sohc engine.

Looking togo to South Padre Island National Sea Shore where only 4wd vehicles can go.
