I was probably saddened at the death of Farrah (no need to use her surname, she's always just been "Farrah" to me!) more so than Michael Jackson's death. Jacko was a great entertainer, I queued up in 1982 (or 83?) to see the release of Thriller, loved his early stuff, zoned out after "Bad".
Farrah was it. The smile, and the hair! As a 10 year old in 1979, and then seeing the re-runs later on, Farrah always had a special place in my heart, and with that famous poster on my wall.
I felt she has been pushed aside for MJ, just unlucky enough to pass on the same day (no disrespect intended) as the King of pop.
I also felt for Ryan O'Neal, losing his life partner, after getting back together again. I also lost my mother to cancer last year, she was diagnosed and we buried her 6 months later, she was just 60 years old, now I see my Dad alone for the first time after 41 years of marriage, and it breaks my heart.

I gotta try to get some of Farrah's movies and TV shows on DVD to let her live on!

Excuses are for losers.
