Why don't you start with the shop manual? Section "Suspension and Axle -- Front Drive Shaft (4WD)" (pages SA-36 -- SA-41 in my copy). Detailed description and pics.

Looks reasonably involved, and that you have to pull the whole halfshaft with both CV joints. Calls for a snap ring expander and a brass bar and brass hammer.
