Body Damage is Cool
I am going to take advantage of the "Clunkers for cash" program and trade my Raider in on a new car for my wife. I would like to sell all items at once. Warn M8000 winch, Bushmaster fender flares, brushguard, modified Range River roof rack, custom made rocker panel protection, black steel wheels with Goodyear Wrangler M/T's (three of five tires VGC), OME shocks and rear leaf springs, Starion alternator. Vehicles relinquished in this program must be driveable, so I would need replacement parts for the last few items. $1,250.00 OBO.

Another one for Les' vultures. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Why not sell the Raider outright?

According to the website, my Raider has a combined fuel economy of 15 m.p.g. and a trade-in value of $4,500.00 if I choose to buy a vehicle that has a combined fuel economy of 25 m.p.g. or greater. Thus, my Raider is worth three times it's actual value. Between parting with the Raider and our Mazda we could make a sizeable downpayment on a new vehicle, for my wife. The Mitsubishi Outlander and Endeavor SUV's do not have high enough mileage to be considered. I am thinking either a Honda CRV, Accord sedan, or Audi A4 sedan. Final choice will be up to the wife.

I just traded in the wife's Rodeo on a leftover new Element from last year for this very reason. I also got near max Blue Book value from the generous dealer I ended up working with. Good luck with the venture.

I know you want rid of the stuff as a package deal, but if you decide to break some stuff up, I'd be interested in the winch and fender flares if shipping wouldn't kill the deal.

Thanks.

I'd be interested in the rocker protection.

Sounds like dang near all your stuff is spoken for if you wanted to put up some individual prices. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

If not, that's cool, too. It hasn't been long...
