Finally found it by feel and an inspection mirror. Maybe it's because I don't have any lift but I can't see it through the side flap. Kewlynx: Thanks for the URL. That is the same pict. as in my FSM. It shows that plug up front, if I read it correctly. It must be for the 3.0 and they never updated the pict. in the 3.4 FSM.
