The GF's Cherokee has shown no signs of needing a new battery, but this morning it got her to work, then wouldn't crank. Lights, windows, etc. still worked. She was right down the block from a CarQuest, so walked over there and they checked the battery, said it was only putting out 9v, and wanted to sell her a new one for $100. I told her to tell them to F off. WallMart has two options: A 3 year guaranteed replacement battery for $75, or a 1 year guaranteed replacement battery for $50. The $75 battery has "a lot more cranking amps than the 1 year" free replacement battery. I don't know how much more amps b/c the GF calls my cell phone if she gets a busy signal on the land line (the logic of that can only be a female thing). Any thoughts as to which I should go get this afternoon? BJ I've heard you say to get the cheapest WallMart battery you can get....Still your recommendation? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/sleeping.gif" alt="" />
