I just replaced my front wheel bearings, but I'm not sure if I did everything correctly. I bought outer and inner wheel bearings, and outer and inner seals. But I did not use the outer seals. Well, what I'm calling inner bearing and inner seal are the ones in contact with the steering knuckle. And outer bearing is the one in contact with the hub lock nut. When I took the hub apart, I did not see any outer seal, and I could not find a way of using the outer seals that I bought. So I just replaced the inner seal (touches the knuckle), inner bearing, and outer bearing. I used the same races. Am I missing something here? Should I have that outer seal? I followed the kia tech info wheel bearing replacement procedures, and they do not show any outer seal. But it also does not specify if the procedure is for a 2wd or 4wd. Mine is a 4wd.

Thanks
