Matt,

There is actually a post on here that lists all the things needed with P/N and where to get them for replacing the stock mechanical fan with an electric one and a SPAL controller. Do a search for SPAL and you'll get loads of info. Good luck.

I had the same problem with my muffler heat shield. It took me forever to find what it was and I tried welding it back on a couple of times. The metal was so thin that it would hold for a day or two and then break. It finally broke off while flying down the freeway at 75 mph. Luckily there was no one behind me when it finally decided to come off. Problem solved. Later I installed a custom cat back system using 2.5ö pipe and a Spin Tech muffler. I love it! Nice and throaty sound up to about 3500 RPM, and then the sound cuts off so when you are at freeway speeds itÆs just a little louder than stock. Next step is to install a high flow cat because I just topped 100K miles last week.
