How do I get fluid into the rear Differential in my 03 montero? I drained the fluid I tried to pump into one of the two fills and it shoots right out i can't get none in. What I'm I doing wrong?

Your not doing anything wrong...the tube is not in all the way. Make sure to wiggle the tube that you are using to put the fluid in around a lot and it will go in further. If it doesnt, use somethings smaller and then fill it till fluid comes out the top hole.

I have to try that. You have to see my driveway gear oil all over. I just changed a engine in another car and here I am can't change diff fluid.

going to do it this weekend I never saw two fill holes before on A rear Diff.

The fluid Around the bolts were from Me Spilling Fluid wouldn't pump In.

ummmmm <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />....thats not where you put the oil in......go the the drivers side in front of that.....one drain plug bottom and then fill plug drivers side half way up. Those are the mounting point for the third member.
