So wait, I'm trying to figure this out.

Dodge PU/Raider 4WD 1982-1989 26mm 50 1/2" 1726 $330.00

wouldn't this catalog item be the right fitment for our SWB gen I? Is this torsion bar simply an OEM replacement or improved somehow? I've done the stock torsion bar crank and Gen 2 rear spring swap already. My vehicle is still riding lower in the front and I want to put a winch and ARB on the front but worried about the weight on the already sagging front end.

Anyone know about this?

How long are your current torsion bars?

stock T-bars on gen1 are 23mm(if i remember correctly)but when i looked this up before I know the 26mm is thicker than stock

I thought Gen1 and Gen2 torsion bars were different lengths. Didn't GrassCat try to install Gen2 bars and they wouldn't fit. May be wrong

that is correct. he found that they were different lengths.

In that case listing the same t-bars for 1990-1994 is BS

Justice is correct, the early gen2 bars fit the gen1 LWB. I think the SWBs are shorter. I dont know what year they stopped, maybe 94, that is why they have them listed to 94? I put a set of sway-away from AUS bars from my 93 to my 91 gen1.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

I think I am just going to order the whole Ironman lift. Reason being is my shocks are going out and the valley spings are sagging really bad. You can pick up the whole kit on ebay right now for 360 or best offer. My friend just payed 300 for his.

But I think the total lift recieved is only 1.5". Double check, someone will chime in

I was looking at the long haul. I paid a pretty penny for my JAOS coils and the OME shocks, but guess what, after 8 yrs or so, they arent sagging. You get what you pay for... in my opinion atleast
