I have been noting a few issues with "certificates" when accessing the portal (www.4x4wire.com)

Is anyone noting strange behavior???

Of the several times that I've accessed the portal the last few days, I haven't seen a problem until just now. My IE7 just complained about a security certificate. It didn't give any more info and I wasn't able to squeeze any more info out of it. I said ignore and it displayed the page normally.

If it occurs again, I need to know what is displayed in the browser URL window.

For example, if you access the site using www.4x4wire.com, it should bring up the portal home page.

However, I have noted that on occasion, it will display the IP address and shift to requiring an ssl certificate for an encrypted session;

However, I can enter a /index.php and the site loads normal. Except that it will append a /home to the url.

It is a puzzling display....

Using IE8, I had a certificate issue. The main page loaded but a bunch of the graphics diddnt load. A pop up came up saying it blocked content and I chose to load anyways.

John, I finally experienced this issue. A ticket with Rackspace is in order for them to generate and install a valid certificate.

I'll look into the SEF config as well b/c that seems to be causing some issue.

I had a ticket with Rackspace for configuration check. Nothing abnormal.

They suggested correlating error with a log entry which I have been trying to do.

The only abnormal thing I find is a request for 10.5.96.6 which seems to relate in time to when I see an IP address displayed requesting an ssl session in my browser.

I opened a new ticket this morning requesting the generate a valid site cert.

BTW, I haven't seen the error again since I saw it almost a week ago. I'll let you know any more info if I see it again.

Rackspace has installed a valid cert. For the time being, it is "self-signed". However, there was no cert prior. So, it can't hurt and it might help.

Please post if anyone encounters an invalid token or invalid cert error.
