We are planning a trip into BC, to do the famous Whipsaw trail. Not hardcore wheeling by no means, but a great trail, and we'll make it into a 2 dayer, and camp on the trail next to the lake, for Saturday night. The trail head is just outside Princeton BC. For you BC guys (and of course anybody else who wants to make the trip), please post up if you're interested. I did this trail in my shorty genII, and plan to do it this time in the Betsy-5-Exceed. We have a few coming from AB. This is a good chance for you BC boys to represent. Or some of our more northerly stateside buddies!
This is not exclusive diesel territory. I simply posted it here since there are a disproportionate number from BC on this forum.

Too bad I will actually be returning through Princeton from Vancouver on the 9th but in tow with the fiance's grandparents. Enjoy the trip.

Hmm, could a "stock jock" (as my barely-street-legal-jeep-driving brother in law calls us) do it? My 4-wheeled offroad experience consists of getting stuck in a highway construction site and driving over medians in mall parking lots, lol. I've got 31x10.5 Dueler A/Ts on.

Too bad Spence. Next time... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Stock Jockers are welcome!! Decent 31s will get you through it. We are simply out there for the sights and the wilderness. And what better way to cut your teeth than on a great trail like Whipsaw!

Thanks Phil! I did some reading, and it looks pretty easy-going.. Would it be suitable for bringing my wife and toddler? They have less offroad experience than I do, lol. So they might scare easily!

Awesome!! Would love to see you out!
Clead, I guess it depends on what your family's comfort level is for camping. We'll be camping on the trail for at least one night... there is a place to have a fire once we get to the lake, so at least it won't be cold!

Well, my wifey already chickened out, and doesn't think my little one would stay in the truck that long, so it might be me and possibly a buddy. I'll keep you posted.

I'm new to wheeling myself, but the Pajero is the perfect truck to learn in. They practically drive themselves! I'm trying to talk my Girlfriend into it but so far she is working. Oh well... I'll see who else I can talk into it. No matter who's coming, I'm in for this trip!

Negative, the 7th is my step-moms 50th birthday and I got suckered into attending, I'd much rather go on a trip to BC than spend the day with that wench!
