Yes. Or have the spring pack re-arched plus addaleaf. I have also played around in my head with using coilovers plus the leaf, but you'd have to bag the coil/threads. Airshocks also played briefly. I'd still want to measure the drive pinion flange angle with vertical, and the same for the tcase output, and correct with angle shims between the spring and spring perch to match the angles under normal highway truck loadup.

I don't like shackles because they don't help any, and may hurt angle of departure max. Draw a line from bottom of whatever rear bumper fitted to contact of tire (tangent to tread surface) and you'll see what I mean. any body/suspension intrusion below this line compromises departure angle. Extending the rear shackles usually intrudes into this space. except perhaps at full extension.

I don't like soa because you can hit the axle at the ubolts with enough vigor to snap the axle off, where a sua setup like stock will surf over the rock, ubolt ends protected (mostly).
