Shadow, That used a 240D bellhousing with a NP435. Not really in my category. I want the auto for space, economy & repeatability.

I have my SR rear to go in, Might have a line on a waggy 44 that I will link & coil (cut the towers off of a ford when I was in salvage). I might just have to do the SAS to clear the oil pan on the 617.

Seeing as I LIVE in Sarasota AND I am now back to owning a monty LWB AND own VW TDI I really want to check this out. i have dreamed of somehow putting diesel in monty. When I got my truck back (for free)I thought I was gonna need motor and was looking for diesel front clip to import. Since was just crank bolt broke was much cheaper to keep gaser. I'd wreck the VW & buy it back to stuff it in your monty... LOL. This project should start in about a month, as I need to get all of my ducks in a row & figure costs.
