still on the same tank of gas for almost 1.5 years now...dont drive the Montero much.

I thought I would fire up the AC because that is recommended to keep the seals lubed. It was blowing warm air. Must be a leak, I have bubbles in the site glass. Also, it is either cloudy or the the glass is dirty. I have a very little R12 but I dont know if that is really what's in there. Could be 134. How to tell?



I pulled the MAF it to knock the dust out. The temperture sensor is about 1K low...oh well. So I put it back on and whattya know the thing wont start. I chased it down to the three wire connection to the power transistor. Bad green corrosion. Mine has never had the clip that holds it on.

I am going to examine the radiator/ cooling system when I get time....and alternator bearing sounds funny...
