Though I am sure no one besides me has this happen... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> after busting my skull open a few times I tossed these on It has seemed to prevent further blood loss.

I know what you're talking about, good thing I still have hair to cover the scars. Maybe it's not a problem in Japan. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Problem? What problem? Never hit any of those things before... actually I have a hard time reaching them with my 4" of body/suspension lift and 35" tires.

That's what I'd do instead of using that padding.

Of course it helps that I'm only 5'6" or so. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I think others put on big tires and body lifts to get the hood catch above cranial level. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Though a lift is tempting, at 6'3" it will take a grand or so to lift it high enough. I think for now the $.15 method will have to do <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Ah, Mitsu Head. I take the safety catch (or the hood) off when I'm under there. 6'2"...

Maybe use a longer hood 'stand'/support/rod or different different one along with inserting it into a different hole in the hood that will force the hood higher?

I put a sock or glove over mine. It takes a long time for the blood to quit flowing when those get you. I probably should have had stitches twice from it.
