I have nothing but liability on the G-Raider and the MM. If they're stolen or wrecked, it's on me.

If I was working, I'd be grabbing the Dyna that's on the curb for sale... but I'd still have to drop about 50 pounds.
9k against a Dodge sounds good, but I still think it's no good. I'm paying myself the 4500 by drinking the Federal Kool-aide.

Do you guys not have full coverage? I do on my Monty and my 20 year old Miata. I figure if I total one of them, that's a big out lay in one go What do you guys do? I pay $93 dollars per month for full coverage on the GrassCat. Liability only would be $20 less. So it was a no brainier for me and like the Englishman that's would be a big out lay to replace it. I guess it's not to bad for where I live.

I did this, last Tuesday. I turned in my 1988 Dodge Raider for the $4,500.00 and also traded in my wife's 2002 Mazda Millenia for a 2009 Toyota Rav4 4WD. My wife needed a new vehicle, one that would get better gas mileage, had room for four adults, a bit of cargo room, and traction for negotiating the north Georgia mountain roads in inclement weather.
I hated to see the Raider go, didn't want vehicle payments, but the Toyota will be with us a good while. I can find another serious 4X4 in a year when both my kids are out of college. I have a few leads on other Mitsubishi's, a Montero Sport and a SR, owned by a realtor who is hanging on by a thread. I might pick up another Mitsubishi in the not too distant future, or a Isuzu Vehi-Cross that is currently tied up in a divorce.
This happened to be the best choice for us at this time, and it coincided with my wife's birthday. I did not want a Rav4, I prefered a Toyota Tacoma four door 4WD truck, as my wife treats EVERYTHING she drives like a truck. However, she refused to drive a truck.
Too many 4x4's, not enough time or money

My wife would abuse a buckboard wagon. She would throw a bale of pinestraw and a bag of manure on the rear seat of a Aston-Martin and bring it home. I have watched her do this for nearly thirty years. I told her I would divorce her if she did such things to the new Rav4. I should have the entire interior Rhino lined.

Where is Bretwalda in all of this? I really think their could be a real conspiracy going on with this $hit. I mean they want to kinda kill the old car market putting part suppliers out of business, and giving you an inferior product and more debt. Also the fact that cars with Onstar and the like are very very suspect in my eyes. Big Brother??? What about the gov using GPS in most new cars to track "suspect" people? I mean C'mon! their has to be something shady going on aside from wanting people to own new cars...

I would trade my 1981 D50 4x4 away in a instant for a rock bottom econo box for the kids. It just rolled over 200K and has severe carb problems. It's got me stuck twice. :-@ But it doesn't qualify only because it's over 25 years old. It's not worth $1000 and I'd like the kids to have a reliable car with airbags. Oh well time to part it out.

If you really free it's a conspiracy, why not start a new post in the right forum.
