If they were going to do it (and I still hate this because I don't want to see nice older vehicles needlessly crushed), they should give all buyers a $10,000 tax deduction or something similar. This is just a spending bill. So now I have to pay for the destruction of cars I like?!?

There is still time. The extension will be going in front of the senate in just a few days. Write your senators a letter/email and tell them you appose this program and any extensions/expansions.
Making your opinion known here is all good, but I don't know of any state senators that read the 4x4wire forums so we have to contact them directly so they know how we feel.
