Not sure if this should be here or the "wanted" section. But it's Pajero/Montero specific so this looks like a good spot I found this pic while searching for Pajero stuff on the netz and I like the look of the grill alot better than anything i've seen in the states. I'm trying to figure out what years/models/countries got this grill or if it was just a concept grill. Any help on finding this out would be awesome and if anyone has one to sell or trade for a U.S. spec grill would be even better. Thanks in advance! http://www.flickr.com/photos/trailraider/3770967122/(posting a link to my flickr cause trying to link the image didnt work)

i think the Az Crew has 5 of those, they are from 83-84 montero's. The MMC badge is swappable with the diamonds that come on that grill in the US.

Those are early metal grills. They have less frontal area than the later plastic grills. They should allow a bit better air flow. They are a direct replacement.
Remove three screws. Remove old grill. Install new grill. Install three screws. Done.

Yes. They're from the earlier Monteros. I have one on mine in Maine. They're probably going to be hard to find. Take a look at "my photos" link below.

I traded one to Sparkem, so he's got one.. they aren't that hard to find. You just have to order them specific to that year, and there used to be aftermarket replacement available for a while since they are pretty generic.

It is still on the front of my black Gen1. It needs a new paint job.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Oh one more thing they are only 60$ brand new from the dealer, so don't be like some of us who paid 75 for a junkyard one.

I got mine through Car-Parts.com and was $30 for the part and shipping. It was a little rough but with some new paint on the insert and grille and a new diamond badge all told I spent $50 and think it was well worth it.
