My conversion works great. Spent @ $150 on the whole thing. Made my own aluminum adapter plate and bought a 1bbl off a rebuilder that works on 232 slant 6. Did not have to change anything. Just bolted it on, hooked it up, and it started within 30 seconds. A little adjusting here and there and it's been near perfect every since.
I have a question.
I have no emissions whatsoever. All original items, equipment, sensors, wiring, plugs, vacuum lines, etc are all gone.
Do I need that ECU or whatever it's called under the glove box any longer? I can't believe it's hooked up to anything since there is nothing connected, not even the advance/retard on the distributor.

I used a tea strainer for an air filter. Rat Rod guy told me about this. Works and fits perfect.
