Cool, just let me know if thereÆs a way. Some thing I just can't get out of on that Saturday. I hope I can get on the road by 6pm. How hard are the trails?

Easy from what I've been reading. Just basic 4x4 is needed. Not even a lift IIRC but I'm still researching so don't hold me to it yet.

It's all in Les's report on the first page of the post Ty. Don't forget to bring your son, someone needs to keep you straight.

Hmmm sounds like time for a 2nd Montero... maybe more built than yours?

a 4x4 truck-based SUV is enough.

Stiff shocks and coils are a plus. There are long stretches of easy trail, when you are driving fast. But there is always a pothole/bump in the end of the stretch

4Low is helpful in sandy areas.

In most parts of the trail, 4High/locked is the best setup. My Axiom, unfortunately, locks only in 4Low.

Leo,

IIRC, this is usually a pretty big trip for your club, however being a 'Tow Rig' run, perhaps it won't be? I see from your site there are 8 listed as driving their tow rigs. Do you know how many rigs total you'll have on the trail?

TIA,

Ray
