The ____________ Express (want to say Sands/maybe Tropicana) in Laughlin is only $25 per night when we play ball there. I could call some of the softball guys down there to try and get the name if you want.

46 Vs 152..... being I sometimes drive 46 3 times in one day or once a month, avoid 46, it's nothing but 2 lane blacktop from (or going to) hell. everyone drives it in a rush and no one NO ONE gets to Lost hills any faster.

What you say may be true but he's coming from Pebble Beach.

I agree Jon take 101 to 46.

I like going the 46 route sometime as it breaks up the same old way of heading east and there's wine in those hills.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking about. GOOD wine, too!

152 is not too far off course if it makes for good time. Last time, 46 only took an hour. The first time, when I was behind an RV, though...Oh my, was I NOT happy...

I'm still trying to figure out if I can swing this one. Stochastic Modeling, Linear Algebra, Linear Programming and Data Analysis are going to make for an interesting overloaded quarter. I'm pulling the engine on Monday to reseal the lower end and do the head gaskets that I SHOULD have done when I took apart the top end the first time.

I'll let you guys know. REALLY sounds like fun, though!

Carlos, I sent you a PM and email with the trip flier that has all the attendee's cell no.'s for reference. See you in Laughlin bud!

To all else, I'll be sending out a flyer next week with everyone's contact info (cell no's), basic route overview map, & critical waypoints.

I also have a comma separated values (CSV) text file I can send you that you should be able to import into your GPS (off road units) for use on this trip. Let me know if you'd like to get that.

Otherwise, just under 3 weeks left and I'm about as anxious to go as if we were leaving tomorrow!!

How's everyone coming along with their preparations?
I was at the GCC (Grasscat Compound) this past weekend and Michael was busy like a bee prepping his rig, doing last minute mods/upgrades for the trip.

I've got to do a few maintenance items (fluid checks, etc.) myself and make sure I'm out of my appt by this next weekend. I'll be busy like a bee for the next couple of weeks before the trip.
