Where will the group camp Saturday evening, I heard Caruthers Canyon, is this correct?
Yes, this is true. The approximate coordinates are: N35 14' 24.6" W115 18' 03.9" If you have the Map Source, see the file MapSource Mojave tracks and waypoints The Caruthers camping area is around the waypoint CC10. You have to approach this place from the freeway 15, then Ivanpah road, then unnamed road from the east-to-west, then turn to the Caruthers to the north. In the MapSource file, the road from freeway 15 to the Caruthers is shown as waypoints AO1 - AO28.

Alright... I'll hopefully be on the road this morning.
I hope everyone is ok and there are no last minute cancellations.

I made it home safely about 1:30am last night. Glad we didn't have to drive through this morning's storm! Will post up pics tonight or tomorrow night. I hope everyone made it home okay.

I hope everyone made it home okay. Alex got to the mechanics shop just fine. Except that the transmission is gone He is thinking about the car's future now. This is the sad and painful side of our "sport". Joanna, Mike, Ray, Carlos - thanks a lot for helping my friend Alex. That whole rescue operation on the freeway 5 was so cool. Wonderful to have you guys around. My personal big thanks are going to Bruno for unlocking my car on the trail. This have never happened to me before, but some people are learning only from there own stupid mistakes. Thanks to Mike for the navigation. My own evil GPS suddenly lost my old tracks right before the Soda Lake Probably the memory was overfilled. That was a big great event. Thanks to Ray for organizing it. Joanna crossing Mojave river: On the trail: ![[Linked Image]](http://www.geocities.com/olegmoskalenko/misc/mojave/tmojave.JPG)

Many thanks for all for nice trip. Actually it was most "bloody" trip for my 4x4 life. Get home at 5:30PM. My Trooper with half-dead tranny made it! Front axle disconnect stuck in the middle position. TOD light flushing in "Auto" but it is not a big deal. some pictures here: http://picasaweb.google.com/vboyko/Mojave2009#Will post more later.
