Yup. I prefer a swivel socket/adapter over a universal joint as the swivel wont flop around and bend at an angle where you cant use it. Much easier to get on the bolt too.

Get a long enough extension where you can get your ratchet out in the open to get some leverage behind it. Put a 1/2 drive ratchet on it if you have to or an impact.

Some people say to undo the t-case crossmember and let it droop down to give you more room to access the top bolts, but I've never had to do that using a swivel and extensions.
