Body Damage is Cool
Good lord, what a bunch of "don't do its" first of all XJs are old cars, "forever" to an xj could be 2-3 years.
XJs are not a keep forever vehicle.
Is the point of bigger tires to look cool? Or wheel better?
Sorry trick question, A and B are correct. I have a 95 XJ with many wheeling miles on it, it takes one hell of a beating and keeps on going. 35" MTZs, 4.5" lift, 9" detroit rear, OED30 front with ARB, 4.10gears, sliders, cage and frame supports. and most of all dents and smashes (battle scars) the body is cut to fit the tires and yes they still rub a bit, and NO the seams where I cut it don't create a problem where the uni falls apart? (that is pure funny) and no where I cut the inner fanders on the front does not create an opening to throw mud inside.
Cut it, use it, beat it, wheel the crap out of it, buy a new one when it is trashed, or just step up to a TJ with a real frame. But whatever you do don't listen to folks who don't know anything about your rig. Go to NAXJA.com to learn about XJs

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Nothing agianst having a beater XJ, but I can sure as s### see through the gap between inner and outer fender where everything from outside flies in! My only point being that if it were a DD, I wouldn't do that to it.

And with this Cash for Clunckers debacle, who knows how many fine running Cherokees are getting cubed...W/out even the bone yards being able to resell the parts. F. DB's. My .02. Not bitter....Really.

You want to dd your cherokee, don't hack it up. You want to wheel it, cut the piss out of it and go have fun.

Hi, is it possible to fit 33s with stock rims on a 90 Cherokee Laredo with just cutting the fenders or am I better off with 31s? Thanks.

No!
